"Creating unique and lasting memories"

2020 brought a larger work space, and a new studio still the color yellow it was my godmother's favorite color.  We spent many Mondays together painting, and it reminds me of many nice memories we had.

After their walk they decided a ride home would be a better idea.

August 2018 I heard about a little girl that needed a home and so Lilly Tilly moved in.  She is now 10.

Hello~Here is some information about me so that you can know me a bit better.

Since I was small my family always had animals.  My father was a huge animal lover which I believe was passed down to me.

I believe animals are so innocent and full of unconditional love who can become vital members of a family.

I have been an artist for many years, transitioning from charcoal, pastel, graphite, colored pencil, watercolor, and oils.  A few years ago I decided to blend both of my passions and create KarenChrisPetPortraits.  I also enjoy working on and creating art of additional subjects and matter such as portraits, landscape, still life, in realism or impressionism, and illustration.  Putting your pets image on canvas is more personal than a photo and is something you can hang in your home and be reminded of your special pet(s) in a very unique and beautiful way.

One of the first things I paint after the background is the animals eyes which helps me create a connection to their special personality.

For me this new website is a journey in which my abilities will continue to grow and expand. I  look forward to meeting you and all your loving pets, and in return be able to help other animals who are not as blessed.

Feel free to contact me so we can discuss how to make your vision a reality and honor your special pet.

THE FAMILY
